It has been quite a year since my oldest daughter (20) was diagnosed with Celiac a year ago. She went off her gluten-free diet for a couple of weeks (she felt she had been divinely healed....long story....) about a month ago. She very soon came down with a bad yeast infection; sleeplessness; racing heart; dizziness; over-confidence; over-spending; etc. etc... -

From ERA's mom... Thank you all who responded to my e-mail. One of you asked what I meant by developmental delays...these were tracked early on with her development by her dr., and then also showed up in the brain scan. Physical milestone delays, plus academic delays, and now social ones with peers. Also, she had a difficult birth, with included forceps... -

A brain scan (Amen Clinic, Tacoma, WA) over a year ago revealed my daughter, now 20, has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (like me...runs in the family); Generalized Anxiety Disorder; and developmental delays (with learning challenges). For over 10 years, we avoided putting her on medication trying learning therapies, etc. etc. but after natural supplements... -
My daughter has been taking a "wheat and gluten free" multivitamin for several weeks now........and I discovered this morning that there is BARLEY GRASS and OAT GRASS in it....could this be a problem? Know of a good multi-vitamin...? She was told by dr. to stay away from wheat, corn, oats, dairy, etc. AND, don't know how we missed it, but on a snack bar,...

Thank you both for your replies...gave me a lot of hope! Next question: anyone feel pains especially on their left side?--she is feeling that around her waist area, and some on her right. My dad brought her some Norwegian shark oil (Omega 3 fatty acids) liquid that has had wonderful results with others (including my dad, for other things). Thanks again-... -

my daughter, 20, was found to be celiac in late july of this year...3 doctors, then a blood test. on gluten-free diet, but still has many days of very high fatigue, some stomach pain; and is losing weight. the naturopath, who has her on an array of supplements, never mentioned gluten free external care products (shampoos, etc.)...is that a biggie? the naturopath...
