    My wife and I just got back for Japan and I think it was pretty tough to find gluten free options.We had bilingual people to help us and a very good "celiac card". Japan loves packaged food and it all has wheat. The restaurants are laden with soy sauce. Most of the sushi is made with malt vinegar.
