  1. Thank you for the reply about the Thyroid stuff too. My gut tells me that could really be related, especially with the hair loss too. I'm also generally very cold when others aren't. I just don't get how I felt so good for so long, and now it feels like someone "flipped a switch" and I'm back to where I was. I need to figure out how to "flip it" back...
  2. Yes, very confident that all supplements were gluten free. My vitamin D levels were low, and when I saw a chiropractor for my back issue, I saw that he sold supplements. He is the one who suggested the high dose - looking back, I wish I would have investigated that further before jumping on board. I am hopeful that the overload of Vitamin D is the...
  3. I just started a new thread before I found this one - sounds like what I'm experiencing. Any insights? Oh boy, do I need help. Hoping someone can give me some insight..... I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in March 2013. I immediately went gluten free, and noticed incredible improvements in my overall well-being - most markedly mentally. For...

For most of my adult life I suffered with anxiety, depression, irritability, brain fog. I took antidepressants...
  5. Thank you all. I'm not as much thinking CC from uncertified gluten-free oats - I would think that my blood panel would have showed that after 4 months, right? Do you think it could just be the oats themselves, not gluten at all? I remember reading somewhere that in some Celiacs oats can mimic gluten, and the body can respond the same way?
  6. Hello! I was diagnosed with Celiac about 1.5 years ago. Within a few weeks of stopping gluten, I had relief of so many issues that I never even realized were Celiac related - aside from the gut issues, the big ones were the foggy headedness, anxiety, and hair loss (mostly in the shower). Within about 2 weeks I felt like a few person! My issue is...
  7. Woah, just talked to the billing folks at the hospital. They said that the doctor's fees alone were close to $3000, and that they expected hospital/anesthesiology fees to be at least that much if not more. SO.....at the price of $6000+ out of pocket, I won't be having the biopsy done. I have done some research and have read that some physicians use...

  9. Hello! Need some help/advice from those of you who have been through this.... Since January 2014, I have suffered with moderate abdominal pain and diarrhea. After "waiting it out" for a few months, I finally went to the doctor. After several tests, he did a Celiac blood panel, which was positive. Looking back, it looks like a Celiac diagnosis...
