  1. I called next protein- the manufacturer of detour/ oneway/joyride/ and uturn bars- and the woman told me they were gluten-free. (but they are made on production lines that contain gluten.)   2. I have definitly noticed a STRONG link between having an empty stomach and celiac symptoms. My stomach hurts when it gets too empty and then I eat, and it hurts even worse.   4. Wow. Thanks for all the input. I will definitly pick up that Carpicic acid (spelling?) and give it a try. I don't know how to answer the questions about what else I have trouble with. The fact is I don't keep very good track of what I eat in relation to how I feel. I guess I should start keeping a food and symptom log... it is just frustrating, my gastroenterologist...
