  1. My GP suggested I get the blood test done before I saw the derm and the results came back negative. However when I was going through the results myself I saw they only tested me for 2 markers instead of the full blood panel which really annoyed me. I've made an appointment to see an integrative dietician next week who I'm hoping will be able to help me....
  2. Well I had my appointment with my dermatologist this morning to get the results of my biopsies which came back as...an insect bite reaction - which I am not buying but she didn't want to hear it. Even though I said I found it hard to believe an insect bite would produce hundreds of ongoing lesions (3 months and counting) which ALWAYS flare up after I eat...
  3. Yep have definitely been on gluten (and feeling the consequences!). Am aching to go gluten free but have to wait until all testing is done :S Yes, I also thought it was some sort of wheat allergic reaction so was surprised when my doc dismissed it. Had a look through my blood test results and saw they tested me for AGA IgG T-glutaminase Both of which...

  5. Thanks for the support guys - much appreciated!

Mentioned to her that the rash that I've had for approx 2 months and had shown her a week prior (which I believe is DH) has spread and gotten worse. I wanted to ask for a celiac blood panel test and was fully prepared to fight for it as from what I've read, doctors can be somewhat reluctant...
  7. Thank you everyone for your responses and the warm welcome. There is such a wealth of information on these forums that it really makes one feel not alone Knowing that it probably is celiac but having to keep eating gluten until the biopsy in two weeks is the current hurdle but hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel. Ate some potato pancakes that...
  8. This is probably going to be a long post (and a first post at that) but I feel like I'm going nuts. The last few weeks I feel like my health is going down the toilet. I believe that I may have celiac disease but feel like I can't talk about my symptoms to anyone as they think it's all in my head. I began researching celiac symptoms due to recent events and...
