  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today

  2. I have been on a gluten-free diet for 6-7 weeks as a trial basis. I had a very low positive TtG test and negative biopsy. I tried the diet just to see what my progress would be. My results have been so-so. How long after the diet do you wait to re-introduce gluten to see if you have symptoms?
  3. At my local supermarket-Shaw's-I was suprised to find quite a few gluten free products!! I found Gillian's Foods wheat free, gluten free, dairy free bread crumbs. Not sure how they will taste but I will give it a try!! I also found gluten free bread, a gluten free tapioca bread, gluten free cookies, gluten free english muffins and other products. I was...

  5. I found a crock pot recipe I want to try but what do I use for the bread crumbs?
  6. Crest makes the Glide dental floss. I called them today and they told me that their toothpaste and Glide dental Floss is ok. They did day that they have a new product called Pro Health Mouth Wash that may contain traces of Gluten, so they advised me to stay away from it.
  7. On one of the lists I got from this site, it says Colombo yogurt is ok(with no cookies or granola). I noticed it has modified corn starch. That's ok right? We got shredded Kraft cheese in bag. It has Maltodextrin. That is ok in the USA,correct? Why are most shredded cheeses in a bag not ok? Also, coffeemate artificial flavored creamer was on the...
  8. What do most of you do for breakfast? I used to eat bagels or cereal What would be quick/easy and filling? I had scrambled eggs and fruit this am. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. You guys have been great!!

  10. Thank you! I know I have to be careful of not cross-contaminating. I can keep the same foods in the same area as long as my gluten free products are sealed. Right? I can still prepare gluten containing products for my kids(who are not allergic). I mean, I can prapare the food as long as it's not ingested. I can still touch the food without having a reaction...
  11. Hello, I am so glad I found this board!! I am 35 years old and was diagnosed this summer with SLE. I have had a rough time but I am ever so slowly improving. I questioned having celiac a few years back. I had the tTg test this june and it was positive. Anything higher than 8 was considered positive and I was 19. My endoscopic biopsy was negative...
  12. I have had a positive tTg but negative endo biopsy. I have the HLA DRB1 (DR4) gene. I have many of the symptoms and a "dermatitis" type rash on my arms, legs and buttocks. I would like to see if I get relief from the celiac diet. I am just overwhelmed and not sure how to get started. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!
  13. I've only been told it "looks" like dermatitis. I am wondering if it needs to be biopsied? What tests should I have done other than tTG? I am on an immunosuppresant and 10 mg of prednisone daily. Will that affect my results?
  14. Hello, I was tested in June for tTg antibodies and was positive. According to the labs, anything higher then 8 was positive, I was 19. I had a upper endo biopsy and it was negative. I had a rough summer. I was diagnosed with SLE(Lupus). I had a positive ANA, high sed rate (106), positive double stranded DNA, low complement levels. Saw a rheumatologist...
