    I had an endoscopy done yesterday and the doctor said I had a lot of inflammation and also some duodenitis?? He also took some biopsies to rule out malabsorption and some other stuff. Now, I am just waiting on the pathology report. Has anyone that has been diagnosed with celiac disease, been diagnosed with duodenitis as well and if so, what is it? Thanks

    What is the total IgA? I thought I had that done??? who knows..all these tests are confusing I have to have a colonscopy and an endoscopy on Tuesday Will my doc be able to tell right away if I have celiac disease? Thanks

    Thanks for your reply That is kind of what I was thinking too. I did tell him my symptoms and told him it only happens after eating occasionally. I think that gave him the major deciding factor to do the endoscopy and colonoscopy, but who knows I think he may be looking to confirm Celiac Disease with these symptoms??

    Well, I saw my GI doc today and after listening to my symptoms, he wants to now do an endoscopy and a colonoscopy next week.... Not too crazy about this, but if it helps diagnose the problem, then I will do it. There was a weird thing that happened while I was waiting to see him today.     My arms and legs are getting bumps and they itch like crazy!! Could this be gluten related? My IGG blood work came back high but the other two came back really low.....I go back to the doc again tomorrow...

    Shortly after I eat, my stomach swells up immediately. Does anyone know if this could be related to gluten or not? I got see my GI doc tomorrow for the second time. Thanks

    I received my Celiac Panel results and they were as follows: Tissutrans IgA 3 Gliadin IGG AB 29 (this one came back high) Gliadin IGA AB 5 Should I be concerned about these numbers? Also, everytime I eat, it goes right through me! I have had my gallbladder checked and it is fine. Thanks,
