  1. Hi there, I was diagnosed July-Aug 2005. I have been doing the gluten-free diet since then, the first few months were difficult, I didn't see a lot of improvement, but slowly I have been doing much better. In the beginning I cut out a lot of foods to see what was causing my symptoms. I really ate mostly fruits and vegetables, 3 meals a day. I think at...
  2. Hi Tina, Good to have you on the forum. I was diagnosed in August and it is getting easier for me with time. The diet can be difficult, but it is definately worth it. I mourned the loss of food for a time, but now I know it is really not worth it to me to eat any form of gluten. Please be patient if you don't feel great right off. It may take some time...
  3. I forgot to eat breakfast... just had apple juice. I had to go early to the store to get some Toilet paper.....we only had a partial roll left. Yikes! For lunch I had leftover stirfry (Moogoo) and rice from last night. Yummy. For Dinner I made chilli. My snack was olives. They seem to really fill me up.
  4. Where did you get your gingerbread cookie recipe and Peanut Butter Blossom recipe? I'd love to have those!

  9. Hi, I am new to the board also, but I have read a lot of postings. In fact someone gave a link to a mainstream products list that is gluten free (I believe it is Chicago area list). I downloaded it and printed it out and take it with me shopping. I am still figuring this diet out also, but that has been really helpful to know which brands of spaghetti...
  10. Yes, I could be getting glutened, as my family still eats lots of wheat. I will have to try eliminating soy and see if that helps. Thanks.
  11. Yes, I have eliminated dairy, but I haven't eliminated soy yet. Can eating dairy/soy make you have headaches, body aches, etc?
  12. Hi All, I am new to the board. I was diagnosed by a positive endoscopy in August 2005. It has been a real rollercoaster for me. Shortly after going on the diet I felt fabulous. (no headaches, body aches, stomach aches, big D etc.). Then I would feel gross for a few weeks and then feel good for awhile and so forth. I have not felt good now for about...
