  1. Hi guys, After 20 years suffering, I was diagnosed with celiac. That was when I was 45. I have been gluten free for 4 years now and feel great. I gained 40 lbs. over the years and my weight finally matches my 6' 1" body. I think I have had diaria ONCE in the last 4 years. I think I have a higher tolerance than most. I stay on a strick gluten free diet...
  2. Yes, she went on a gluten spree for one week before she had the proceedure. and yes they did take a biopsy.

  4. Hi guy, I was diognosed 3 years ago and doing great. I alway thought my 20 yr old daughter had it but could not convince her to be tested, (not enough suffering I guess). We she finally went to her family doc who sent her to a gastroentrnoligist. She had her endoscopy today and the doc immediatly said it looked good villa looked normal, showed her pictures...

  6. I will suspect I've found a new gluten-free product on the shelf, but not quit sure. So I look for a 1-800 # on the package and call it right on the spot while standing in the middle of the aisle (I love cell phones) and ask the rep if this product is gluten-free. Its really amazing how helpful some of this people are! Thats how I found out about Mahatma...
  7. I never thought of lotions or anything of the sort, only food. And I also thought I had more of a tolerance than others. Once cooking some noodles for the grand kid, I by instinct, tested by eating a few. I freaked out and waited for the bomb to hit.... it never did. Maybe it did affect me, but not noticably. I will do some more homework. And go back to...
  8. Hi guys, I have been lurking for a few weeks. Just a quick history I'm 48, male, diagnosed and gluten-free for about 27 months. My GI doc, 7 yrs ago smirked at my symtoms and said IBS. 25 years ago and until then, previous docs said Alceritive Colitis. They thought that when I ended up in the hospital for a couple of days for major dehydration due to a baaaad...
