I agree with the OP. Have celiac. Been on the celiac diet for 6 years now and it is so isolating. Am I healthier? Yes. Am I happier? No. Following the celiac diet has conclusively made me less happy, less connected and and less excited about life. Before I was diagnosed, I was freaking happy even if I didnt feel so well all the time. But I happily ate pizza...
