  1. I have an 18 month old daughter who has been dealing with multiple food intolerances since birth. Back in Feb. she had a celiac panel done, and while it did not show celiac, it did show a high level of glaiden antibody IgG, borderline anemia (2 months earlier her levels were much higher), an elevated IgE, and an elevated sed rate. Her ped said to go off...
  2. Thank you all so much! My understanding (from someone on this board) was that the glaiden antibody IgG was not a definate indicator of celiac and that if her glaiden IgA had been positive, then that would have been a positive celiac result. I am new to all of this, so I don't know. I went home yesterday and read the spelt bread package and it said "a wheat...
  3. Thank you for responding. I should tell you what we are eating. Chicken, Beef, Carrots, Black beans, Grean Beans, Potatoes, Oranges, Peaches, Pears, Bananas, Rice and Spelt. That's it for both of us. Now, about once a week I drink about 1/2 of a can of pop just to stay sane, but that's it. We have tried several other foods, but they always end in a reaction...
  4. My almost 18 month old daughter had a scope and biopsy done last Thursday. She has multiple food intolerances and has been dx failure to thrive, has borderline anemia and had a celiac blood panel done and the only thing that came back abnormal was the glaiden antibody IgG (it was 94). Anyways, GI said the scope showed no signs of celiac what-so-ever. What...
  5. Thank you so much for the information! I will be sure to ask the Dr. how many samples they are going to take. Now, I know I'm getting ahead of myself here, but IF she ends up having celiac, do I need to push for my son and older daughter to be screened as well? They both had trouble with dairy products as babies, and now we struggle with enviro. allergies...
  6. My 17 month old daughter has had a terrible time with food intolerances. Her official dx right now is milk/soy protien intolerance as she had blood in her stools and cried all night long when I was consuming dairy and soy (I breast feed). Her 4 year old sister was the same way as a baby and was on Allementum until she was 18 months old, so that's where we...
  7. They didn't say if it was IgG or IgA. They only told me "gliaden antibody" The scope and biopsy should show for sure though right? Christy
