ARCHIVED Deep fryer cleaning

My family is pretty new to gluten-free diet, and I’ve done all the kitchen purging and replaced all my pans etc. One thing I’m not sure about though.... is there a way to clean my deep fryer so I can keep it? I just want to be able to make my celiac son some home made fries
