In the past 2 years I have an increasingly dangerous response to wheat or yeast (or something that grows in the wheat) that lands me in the hospital emergency room on a frequest basis. I get a life threatening reaction after +1/2 hour that starts as vicious hives and proceeds to anaphylatic shock. I can eat a McDonald's bun but not a fresh made bagel...
