  2. Has anyone ever had a reaction to brown sugar? The other day I had a bowl of grits and used brown sugar and soy milk (dairy protien allergy) and about 15 minutes later I was so sick, diarreah and throwing up, chills and shaking? I am so confused, still trying to muddle through and figure out what I can and can't eat. I would have used regular sugar but...

    ARCHIVED Woman's Day

    The Woman's Day article is what prompted me to give yet another Dr. a shot. I pretty much had to beg her to do the antibody test. She told me that I was a Bi-polar/anorexic . I said "Fine I'll make an appointment with a psychiatrist if you'll run this bloodtest". Sure enough my antibody was 101. Thanks to Woman's Day I am on the road to recovery...

  6. I am very new to this Celiac and gluten-free stuff. First I would like to start by saying that the villi in the intestines are NOT flat or so the GI Doc says however, the Gluten Antibody was almost 4x the limit for a strong positive.
