    My cholesterol was 265 my doctor wanted me to take zocor. I started using the supplement advertised that lowers cholesterol and eating a couple apples a day.     I have been rereading the interpretations information page about test. Is it that I have DQ2 a main gene but it would be more serious if I had an 2 beside the DQ2 than having the 3. A 2 would make it a double gene. Then the 3 is a non-gluten sensitve gene. What is the subtype 2,7 in paratheses for if any thing? Because I don't have double gene then...

    Hathor, I do know about mal de debarquement syndrome. I have the feeling of motion all the time but its not from being on a vehicle type thing.     I thought that if the gene testing showed no genetic gene then I most diffinately couldn't have celiacs disease. I had bloodwork for antibodies for celiacs done and they were normal. I did a stool test for celiacs last year that was 20. I just thought if this was negative would diffenately tell me I didn't have it. Linda

    Here is what entrolab sent me as a result of my test. Not sure I get it completely. I do but not completely. Should I request a biopsy of my intestines?     Kaydee, I had the same experience as you. I first got the gluten stool test. It was positve 20. I had blood work by my doctor that was negative. I sent off almost 2 weeks ago to entrolab for the genetic test. If it comes back positive I am going to show it to my doctor. I think it will motivate him to allow me a biopsy when I get a colonoscopy. If its...

    I went ahead and paid for the test. I have trouble with my doctor doing all I want. I hate to spend the money but figure if it gives me some peace of mind its worth it. I guess I can't consider it all over with after all. I have an appt to see a gastro doctor and will talk to him about everything maybe he will do the right thing. Linda

    My doctor did blood test on me for Celiacs. It was the one that has to do with the antibodies. Its the test with the Tg and so on. That test was negative.     I am wondering if someone can tell me on the Entrolab website where the option is to get the test for genetic test for Celiacs? I used them before just for the stool test. I had an IGA, IGG, IGM test just a month ago ago and it was normal. I read that IGA was a pointer to Celiacs. If I have normal IGA should I still consider the genetic test? I am tired...
