  1. thank you very much! as I was so out of it after the procedure I forgot to ask the surgeon this question! I'll find out on Friday, fingers crossed!
  2. I had my biopsy yesterday, they took 8 samples which i will have the results of by friday and also gave me an on the spot report that said everything looked normal. Can you normally see the villi damage with the camera? Or only through a microscope?

  5. the other night i had 2 glasses of canadian club with coke. I am not off gluten as I am waiting to do a biopsy. However, I have never been as sick in my life from anything as I was from this!! Just wondering if it contains gluten or if perhaps I just can't handle alcohol anymore!?
  6. A friend of mine was diagnosed celiac by biopsy a couple of years ago and has always been overweight. She actually gained more weight after going gluten free because she was actually starting to absorb nutrients!
  7. I have had a positive blood test and I do have fatty stools also. The GI doctor diagnosed me as having fat malabsorption but I don't think this would cause the urine symptom!! Because I am having a biopsy I am still eating gluten. My diet is quite low in fat though as I find eating too much fat makes my symptoms worse. I am vegetarian.
  8. Oily particles floating at the top of urine after I go? yuck hehe .. Anyone know what causes this?
  9. I have had my blood test and am now waiting to have my biopsy. I am just curious as to whether anyone knows what other disorders/conditions may cause fat malabsorption as this is my main symptom. Can Candida cause this? Thanks

  11. I have had a positive blood diagnosis and am waiting for my biopsy.. Because of this I have to eat gluten until then.. I have become very dizzy and have fainted a few times. Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience also!!?
