THat is very interesting! I don't know why the immunologist thinks her biopsy will be positive...hmmm? He did mention that if it doesn't come back positive, it may be worth putting her on the diet. Her other tests apparently came back in the negative range.

Hi! I just read your post and you seem to be in a very similar situation as me...but you are a few steps ahead. I was hoping I could ask you a few questions and compare stories. My daughter Madison is 16 months, weighs about 19 1/2 pounds, is a ravenous eater, loves to play, and has been rapid breathing since I can remember. We have been seeing a pulmonologist...

I just saw the doctor and Madison's IGG bloodwork came back at 73.2 where anything greater that 20 is positive. Now I just have to wait for the endoscopy and bronchoscopy at the end of the month...

Madison's bloodwork came back with IGG 73.2 indicating a strong positive. It was the only blood work that came back positive. After seeing our immunologist today he said he would be very surprised if her biopsy isn't positive as well. The wait begins...?????

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I would have NEVER connected her respiratory issues with celiac, but maybe there just is the connection. She NEEDS to have the bronchoscope done, we have battled with her rapid breathing and lung secretions for long enough. They are going to do the endoscopy at the same time, while she is already sedated...so hopefully...

Hi Everyone! This board has been so helpful in my quest for answers. My daughter Madison is 16 mos. She has been "rapid breathing" since about 3 mos. However, she showed NO other symptoms. She has been on the small side with a ravenous appetite. Around 11mos, she began respiratory problems. She was hospitalized with pneumonia and the pediatric pulmo...
