About Me

I was diagnosed with acid reflux in 2006 and since then the floodgates have been opened. I've take many medications for depression, anxiety, and irritability over the years and the only meds that worked were the ones that made me feel like a walking dead person. I was diagnosed recently in 2009 by my gaestroenterologist after she performed an endoscopy to examine my acid reflux and discovered that my villi were flat. Since diagnosis I've been gluten free (with a few slip ups) and have taken no medication for neurological issues. The difference was spectacular however unfortunately surgery was still needed seeing as the reason why my acid reflux was so bad was because my stomach was misaligned. I'm now ready to roll gluten-freely!
