I am 32 years old and just recently diagnosed via endoscope said they found a little sprue!
I have been having symptoms since as far back as I can remember, I would say about 16 years now. I always told doctors of my stomach troubles and weird rash and they would say take Imodium and here is some cream for your contact dermatitis...
Both of these symptoms were debilitating until I told the dr that my stools had changed color and I could not stand it anymore and I demanded something be done, that was the beginning of this year, and just this past Saturday I had a diagnosis, Celiac Disease no more gluten!!! :0
My family and friends thought I was nuts and that I just would use my stomach as a excuse not to want to go anywhere far or do anything fun, but if only they could live in my shoes and not have to worry where the closest bathroom was or being prepared to go anywhere by having to load up on Imodium or Lomotil...
Now I know I am not crazy!! and can breathe a sigh of relief! Now the hard part I am an avid baker and cook not realizing that I was making myself sick!!! Now to become an avid gluten-free baker and cook!!! and to make my friends and family take this seriously, they all say you lived this long with it!! (not by my choice) I look forward to the day that I am symptom free!!

Thanks, I will definitely ask for a copy of the biopsy and test. I say I feel a little better because I am constantly not running to the bathroom over 10 times a day maybe running only like 5-6. To me that's huge:) Do any of you suffer from left upper quadrant pain sometimes it is so sharp it bows me over in pain. It seems to be right under my left rib and... -
I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask this? I went to my GP for a sprained back and he asked my if I had seen my GI yet about my results and told him no that I was not due to see him for another two weeks. (Even though I had talked with the GI's office but I wanted to see what he said and he sat there reviewing my results) and his response...

OMG! your rash looks just how my rash started out about 15 years ago, I would get it on my neck and the outer edges of my arms spreading like wild fire. Dr's always said it was contact dermatitis and give me some cream! itching like crazy I was constantly applying cream and covering my arms and neck in mid summer. fast forward to today I haven't got it on...

. Hopefully you will be feeling much better soon! I was reading your post under Family and Friends (I think...?) about labour day festivities, and I'm glad someone else experiences the same frustrations! Well, not glad, per-say, but now I don't feel like the only one... -

OMG!!! I have went through the exact same thing this weekend for a family birthday party and Labor day party!!! It is so exhausting! They just don't understand what we have been going through:( Hopefully it gets better, when dealing with friends and family
