About Me

writer and developer of the biofilm carbohydrate diet which is a modernization of the specific carbohydrate diet and also the compendium supplement program !

i am understanding the role of immunoreactive peptides/proteins better and how they mesh with the scd/bcd

the difference between the scd/bcd and the gluten free diet is that gluten free assumes underlying gut immunocompetence but the scd/bcd assumes rather the opposite

from the gluten free viewpoint all you need to do is remove the immune reactive proteins ie gluten and other problematic grain peptides and voilą, problem solved !

in reality that doesn't happen because immunocompetence is a theoretical ideal and according to the scd/bcd you also need to reduce modify/reduce the gut flora/biofilm by the selective removal of certain carbohydrates, the use of enzymes and other supplements and anti-biofilmics etc. !

all this work is volunteer and abit exhausting, but the necessity of maintaining one's health never lets one sleep !
