*high five* on the charging of electrical goods Geoss!!!..... I myselph consider it a great achievement (gaaawd, charging the ipod requires a torch AND a magnifying glass to get the usb thingy in the hole :blink:)

This is an example of when having a child is handy. My boys can see the hole thingy for the usb in the dark. Oh to have young eyes again! :mellow:

I have accomplished my to do list for the evening which consisted of:

plug in mp3 player

plug in laptop

I think about it this way: Regardless of WHEN you eat said food, it totals the same amount of calories. If you eat it in 1 sitting or 5, it's the SAME amount of calories! Pheel phree to eat it at once!!! :D :D

Can't wait for the cookbook Rache!! Hubby keeps telling me I need to open a gluten-free bakery . . . but would I want to bake if I had to bake?? :huh:

Just picked up Skeeter from school . . . she puked . . . she was over-due. It's a week and a half before we go to Cincinnati to meet the new doc. Can't wait. Sure hope I like this guy.

Um, what do I wear if it says 'business casual' on their website? Trousers, heeled fancy boots, and a buttondown? I gotta do the laundry....

Congrats & Good luck! My hub is in HR & he would probably say to dress a little nicer than they do. Maybe a blazer with the shirt. I'm assuming the boots are under the pants? Not too tight pants or any cleavage. You probably know all this but you might not believe the stuff women wear to work these days.

Oddly enough, I have to work hard to look my age. I tend to be so very conservative with my clothes that fun, friendly places to work think I'm stuffy and annoying. I used to work a hotel front desk so I KNOW what people wear to interviews, it's just unreal. A wifebeater? Really? And no, I'm not tucking my pants in my boots! I am planning on dark brown, perfectly fitted trousers, brown heeled boots, light blue fitted shortsleeved knit top, and also perfectly fitted tan jacket with 3/4 sleeves. And big buttons. Does that sound too stuffy? I'm going for fitted because I tend to choose loose clothing and it makes me look frumpy. And I can take the jacket off and the knit top will still look very nice.

Sounds lovely, bunnie! I didn't think you were going to tuck your pants into your best cowboy boots (unless its a saddle company) but.... I had someone bring a baby (& someone she met on the bus on the way over to watch the baby) to an interview. As soon as I heard that a stranger was with the baby in the outer office, I couldn't go on. I had to check the baby was still there.

I'm in the middle of a sobfest right now. I can't stop crying. I've been asking and answering a lot of hard questions in the past 2 weeks and I just had a major realization that we want 2 different things from our relationship, I feel like we are moving in the right direction to meet in the middle and nothing I ever do is enough. He asks something of me, I comply 100% of what I have in me and it's never enough. I'm crying all the freaking time and I HATE it. Why am I not enough? I asked him this and he had no answer... I'm a freakin wreck.

I'm really sorry, I shouldn't dump. I just needed to get it out and my son's sleeping and I can't scream :( I'm gonna go bake that cake now.

You are a vibrant, intelligent, loving woman and you are more than enough for someone who isn't hiding from themselves. You can't fix him. You can't make him see you for who you are. You CAN be the most amazing you that you are. Stop waiting for his approval, just be quietly awesome, as you already are. He will, or he won't, realize what he may be losing, but what he realizes is up to him, not you.

You are welcome to come up to Bainbridge for a weekend, if you don't mind construction and no kitchen. We can drink heavily and you can scream all you want.

Your math is solid, although I find estimates of gluten in white bread at 10-12% rather than the 8% you use. Somewhat contradicting what I wrote before, I agree with you that it would be difficult to ingest ...

I did reach out to two major hospitals and currently waiting on approval for one of them in Infectious Diseases to call me.       @nancydrewandtheceliacclue, you are welcome. After looking at this thread again, I would like to suggest that some of the other comments from @Russ H are worth following up on. The bird-bread may or may not be contributing to what you are experiencing, but it seems unlikely to be the whole story. If you have access to decent healthcare, I would write down your experiences and questions in outline form and bring this to your Dr. I suggest writing it down so you don't get distracted from telling the Dr everything you want to say while you have their attention.

Somewhat contradicting what I wrote before, I agree with you that it would be difficult to ingest 10 mg from flinging bread.  However, I would still suggest that @nancydrewandtheceliacclue take precautions against exposure in this activity. I'm not an expert, I could easily be wrong, but if someone is experiencing symptoms and has a known exposure route, it's possible that they are susceptible to less than 10 mg / day, or it is possible that there is/are other undetected sources of exposure that together with this one are causing problems. At any rate, I would want to eliminate any exposure until symptoms are under control before I started testing the safety of potentially risky activities. My diet has not changed, and I do not have reactions to the things I am currently eating, which are few in number. My auto immune reaction just seems so severe. The abdominal pain is extreme. It takes a lot out of me. I guess I will be this way for the rest of my life if I ever happen to come into contact with gluten? I appreciate the help.

Neither did surgeon)in 2006 and there was a leak 2023 during the same time I was dealing with covid, digestive issues, eyes and skin.Considering I " should  be fine" not consuming gluten/wheat, taking vitamins for sibo and STILL feeling terrible.It has to be parasites. I also take individual eye drops prescribed, could there be an issue there? Anyways my pcp thinks I need therapy because again they don't acknowledge my digestive issues because in my records it shows im fine, hintz the reason I had to go back to bay area hospital:(  I thought skin issues maybe sibo related but I feel and have seen and seriously trying not to think about it because it's disgusting.

      oops. I didn't see that before posting or I would have at least referenced it. The two recipes are pretty similar, but I think the newer one is a little simpler/faster. Next time though I will search more before posting.
