Susan, Nikki will know what an Aga is ..

I do

An aga?...hmm..this is what our Iranian grocery clerk wears on her head, perhaps?

 ..isn't that a hijab?

Wearing an Aga on the head is definitely not advisable and would be exceedingly uncomfortable!!

close inspection and scrutiny might reveal.....a subtle but nearly tangible dye-mension of squalor.

:lol: ...no idea what dye-mention means, excellent wordage!

salacious goobs

 ..how dare you!

I cannot recall a more enjoyable, effortless, evening.

I am flummoxed and gobsmackingly confused. Trust me.

A veritable imbroglio.... .....maybe

A veritable surprise! For all of us!! :):) Susan, it's so great to have something terrific suddenly happen to one of us, instead of all the dreaded yucky things we all come on here to garner support over. Way to go, girl. Jestgar truly was onto something...the more laissez-faire one is, and the less one is straining for achievement, and certainly the less one's expectations, the more the chance of some wonderful surprise like this one. Not caring is SOOOO attractive!:rolleyes:

Susie, this is GREAT news!! I'm glad you had such a good time! Seems like Tom's wanting to know this guys trick ... :) ... you've got to read all the small details of his emails so carefully.

Things like that sneak up on you when you least expect it. B)

I knew Nikki would know what an Aga was ... definately not something to wear on your head  ... in fact, people wondered why we weren't taking our old one with us ... it was easier to buy another, trust me ... plus, it was a good selling feature for our house ... and it's the best way to make a good cup of tea, especially in the winter.

OK, heading to the bench to do lots of lab work. I just wanted you all to know that I just got my hair cut, and when I'm working at the bench it falls in my face. Since I can't touch anything with my hands I have to pull it back in a ponytail. Here's where the 'funny pages' part comes in. Since the front part is so short, in order to keep the small pieces back I have a short, thick wad of hair sprouting out of the very top of my head - like the horrible hairdo mom's give to their little girls because it looks so cute...

I am so gonna get no respect today.

sigh

:( Sorry about your little topknot :P

May I suggest a headband to go along with your ponytail in the future. I've been doing that a lot lately while growing out my bangs. It dosen't look too bad, either.

Oh no no no you can't stick this on ME!!

All we heard ALL day was - he's too into me - I'm not interested - now it's a non-date - isn't that pathetic? etc etc ALL FLIPPIN DAY!!

ROFL

My so-called theories (can I use Axioms?) are spot-on for the situation described!

Non-date non-date mantra didn't take?

OMG OMG OMG OMG - - -

Well, I kind of got hit between the eyes when he walked up.....he was about 20 times cuter than I remembered (as you recall, it was my drunken, sweaty, stinky gym-clothing clad night at the pub?)......and he was cute to begin with - - -

so he brought the rum, but we drank the wine, and he brought candles.....BUT THE COOLEST THING OF ALL??????? he brought this cord that lets me connect my Ipod to my stereo - - - just sort of knew I didn't have one, and he had an extra.....

OMG he had me at Stereo Accessories and booze......

Exactly Emily - - - - I didn't care - - but I WAS nervous and unsettled all day - - so maybe I *secretly* cared.........????

Everyone's rooting for Susie .........GAWD!!! IS SHE UP YET?!?!

*yawn* I could hardly manage to kick the guy OUT last night........TRULY UNPRECEDENTED for me - - he coulda stayed for hours more, and it would have been fine......

Bangs are the hairs that you cut to rest casually atop the forehead. I have SEVERE BANG LUST as I have a cowlick that makes the hair go to one side and not rest sexily atop the forehead to hide the slight wrinklage creeping in. Harrumph.

SUSIE IS OUT OF HER MIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:)

What? Nothing on whether your plans for tonight are out in the world or again in the friendly confines of dingoland?

I'd lobby for live music of any sort if it's currently undecided. :)

[Edit]

P.S. the most surprising thing happened to me last night!!:blink:

Showing up at a great bar that didn't exist the last time I lived in AZ, I find a small lobby, w/ three directions to choose from, one w/ a great stage/performing space.

The lobby is well-lit, and only the other areas have the typical nightclub darker lighting.

I, . . .. .at 45 yrs old . . . . .. got CARDED!!!

I never imagined that would ever happen again, tho it did go on thru my early 30s far more than most of my friends, it's just so ridiculous that after years of illness (and even just the years themselves!!) an experienced ID checker could even imagine needing to verify I was born before 1987! *snort* ROFL

I'd have given you warning, but I didn't know I was being funny ... so, just be forewarned, if you see my name, it may or may not be funny. ;)

Oh good! At least NOW I know!!

I suppose the nearly tragic warranty-invalidating full-mouth water ejection was primarily from surprise. THEN the  began. (Shame u don't even get to take credit for something so so funny to me. :( )

Yup, I find it amusing, too, but being a woman, it's not quite as surprising to me as it might be to you. :D

Well, I might have addi.......

Uh, ok, I'll stick w/ your comment.

But Dr. Seuss-zee's greeneggs&ham sure wasn't prognosticated in anyone's post, was it?

Surely if anyone thought it, they'd have mentioned it?

OMG wait - please don't tell me you're not surprised because most women are as nutty as Susie!!!! <_<
