  2. Make sure you bring your own soy sauce. You can get wheat free soy sauce at Whole Foods and some asian markets. Michelle
  3. Hi everyone. I am kind of a newbie to this site. I was diagnosed w/ Celiacs back in 7/2006 and I haven't felt better. I have always loved to cook/bake, but being gluten-free has been tough for me. I was visiting a gluten-free bakery in the city and purchasing their breads, waffles, cakes for special occasions, baking flour, cookies, etc....but I am sick...

  5. I had my endocopy on 7/12. It was confirmed that I had a mild case of celiac/sprue and that I should stick to the gluten free diet. The only thing that I really changed is not eating pasta, bread and the obvious gluten-free products. I watch how I prepare stuff, but I enjoy going out.   6. I just had the endoscopy done last Wednesday, when it became official that I am a Celiac. Whatever the gas was that the anestesiologist used, I didn't remember a thing. I had the slightest sore throat that evening, but the worst part was fasting 14 hours. They tell you no eating after midnight. What if your procedure is at 2:00PM the next day?!!? Anyway...
