  2. I have been doing ok with the gluten free diet so far but am lacking breakfast ideas big time. Any ideas on breakfast and in between snacking? I should stay away from dairy, sugar and eggs as well by the way. Thanks for your help, I am pretty new to this subject!
  3. I am pretty new to the gluten free eating lifestyle and am seeking some advice. When reading food labels what exactly are we looking for and need to avoid? I know it's such things coming from wheat, barley,rye, oatmeal. However I am sure it's hidden in a lot of starches, spices etc. What exactly do you watch for. Also I know I am going to eat out again occasionaly. Any suggestions on what to eat when eating out? Any Restaurants that have a gluten friendly menu choice? Any ideas, suggestions and advice is appreciated!
  4. Everybody on here is wonderful and super helpful. Thank you all for your replies. I had been diagnosed with Mercury toxcity and candida so have to stay away from the sugars incl. honey, fructose, maple syrups, splenda etc etc. Quiet a pain, especially when trying to bake or cook That's why I was trying to come up with an alternative. I will defenitely try out some of your suggestions. Once again, thanks everybody for all your expertise and insights!

  6. I am supposed to stay away from gluten as well as refined sugar and sugar substitutes incl. molases, syrups etc. What could I use instead to cook and bake? Is there a natural sweetener out there? I use Stevia or Xylitol to sweeten certain things, but not sure if it's ok to bake with it? Any suggestions?
  7. I don't even know where to start. I just got my diagnoses from my Natruopath on my food sensitivity to Gluten. What do you eat. I am not even sure what Gluten means. Just slightly overwhelmed. I bought a few products at the health food store. What about lunch meats, tomato sauce, fish, dairy etc. What do you cook? Any wine alowed? I am supposed to stay away from sugar as well because of the candida. Any tips will be appreciated!
