Great suggestions - thanks! I know she has many food allergies as well, including mushrooms, pepper and others. I suspect she is getting gluten in her diet and needs to take another look at that. I know they eat out a lot and that can be a real challenge for her. She has purchased a great restaurant guide for celiacs, which should help with that. Thanks... -

A few months ago, my sister was diagnosed with celiac disease. As far as I know, she has been very strict with her diet. Before her diagnosis, she had a major problem with acid reflux. Thanks so much for the replies. My sister emailed me yesterday and she has purchased the book Celiac for Dummies. I am thinking about going on a gluten-free diet as a trial. I have felt so sick for so long that if there is the slightest chance it could be gluten-related, I am willing to give it a try. Thanks again! -
