I know we went thru hell my daughter had 3 endoscopies before she went from negative to the gray area,but her numbers were way up there so the pathologist had said go with the blood work.so we did.     I guess that it depends on the Dr. My daughter it was we think 3 months also and there was no difference at 6 months, she was down to 68, then 6 months later she was up to 72. 3 months after that which is now she is at 42.. But I don't know if this has anything to do with it at all, but when she finally got a gray area biopsy and the pathologist said...

    I have no idea how long the healing takes, but have u seen any difference since you have gone gluten-free?? That is important in istself.. It does take a while for the numbers to start to go down.. I wouldn't worry unless its a while and they dont go down at all.. then more testing maybe required. That is what happened with my friend.     Ok, back to you on the healing time.. I know it does take time I just dont know how long. And that is the way my daughters blood work was last year when she was dx'd.. just said over a 100.. but it is a year and a half now.. that is why i am wondering.. good luck and feeel good lynn

    Can WE start the happy dance yet?? Got newest tTg numbers.. She is down to 42!!! In Jan She had gone up to 72 from 68.. Does anybody know how long it takes for healing?? We only got Dx'd last year and she was well over 100!!!! Thanks Have a wonderful gluten-free Summer All !!!

    Hi Nora, No I haven't read the article but now that you gave me the link i will not only read it but pass it on to my rock group as well.. Well the mayo clinic does some of the tests. I think it was the lab tech who sent it to the wrong lab, and the 2nd time the dr specifically wrote what test and the lab tech that was there I have known for a while.....

    Hi, Ok this is what i do, because i found the same thing, I rinse the pasta and leave it on the side, and mix the mix as if it were the regular kind and then add the pasta last here i am a cooking dummy put the alloted amount of butter in the pot, add the milk, add the cheese mix and cook an approx low to med heat till all is mixed well, then i put...

    no what happened was it went to mayo clinic and they dont do it.. it should of gone to prometheus.. and then prometheus sent the dr the form and THEY marked the wrong tests down.. the dr crossed it off w/thinck magic marker and cirled the correct tests... thanks and sometimes its not the lab that draws the blood but the place that receives it.. thanks...

    No it just got sent to the wrong lab..it went to mayo instead of prometheus which does the dq2 8.. lol then prometheus did fax over the form and guess what? they ck'd off the wrong box.. the dr took 1 look at it crossed it off in thick black marker and circled the correct tests.. so we shall c what happens.. idk how long it takes.. thanks all for help...
