Yes, PlayDough is wheat based. However, my daughter has never stopped using it. She is just careful to keep her hands away from her face and wash up when she's done playing. She was diagnosed at the age of 4. She is 8 now and has never had a problem. There are those people who are more sensitive than others regarding gluten, but I've never limited her... -
Okay, so my daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease 4 years ago at the age of 4. Now, through routine testing I was discovered to have some positive, some negative, and some equivocal results.
