  1. Hi, Last year I was able to obtain a GLUTEN-FREE Product list from Nestle. Here it is: Carnation Hot Cocoa Coffee-flavored and unflavored Coffee-Mate Liquid(flavored and unflavored) Coffee-Mate Powder((flavored and unflavored) Juicy Juice (all flavors) Libby's Kerns Nectar(All flavors) Nesquik Powder(all flavors) Nesquick Ready...

    ARCHIVED I Give Up!

TestinMe is right! Glutamine does work. I used glutamine. My husband benefits from acidophilus, as do I. I also use aloe vera juice but that is probably better once the bowels are healed yet I am not sure it wouldn't reduce bowel inflammation now too. And yes, I feel all of these on a weekly basis. I am gluten-free for 13 months! I hope...
  4. Hello, I have gluten sensitivity and a dairy allergy to go along with hypothyroid and low progesterone to name a few. But here's the thing, my nutritionist suspected the gluten sensitivity (not celiac) and dairy allergy without testing me! So I went and had bloodwork that came back negative, except no one told me that I should be eating gluten when...

    ARCHIVED Obesity

I've gone down four sizes in clothes and know that it is strongly related to two reasons. The first reason is my new gluten-free, low dairy eating style. The second reason is the adjusting of my thyroid medications. I am all of 5' and I am very happy that these food sacrifices have given me a new svelt figure and my health. I still struggle with...
  6. Yes! I do. I have all of it. Well, I am gluten sensitive which is slightly different than celiac but I must live a gluten-free life. Now is the time to give her immune system the most support. Once I started eating gluten-free it greatly reduced the wheeze. My thyroid is still requiring a lot of medication adjustments. I do feel much better with...
  7. Gee I can only tell you about my experience. I did not test positive when I took the blood test but I was already eating gluten-free. I did not do the biopsy but the stool sample and gene test made it clear that I am gluten sensitive. Technically, I am not celiac however, I must eat gluten-free for life and I should not have wheat products touch my skin...
  8. Congratulations! One year is a lot to celebrate. My one year anniversary was in the middle of December. Less of this and more of this Tammy Happy New Year
  9. Hi Grizelda, I see why you might babble on a bit. Multiple, Chronic diseases can do that to people. Yet, I hope that you find the support you want here. I strongly suggest that you visit two websites. Sorry, I don't have the exact address but just do a search for Symbiotics. Also try another search for Moducare and Polysaccharides and autoimmune...
  10. Hi Steve, Congratulations on making it through the first year, gluten-free. It has been one year in December since my diagnosis. I suppose I feel pretty good. I am not thrilled with the gassiness after meals but I have found a few ways to minimize that symptom. I found that the cold turkey method usually works best for me. I surround myself...
  11. Hi, I have a few ideas! Of course it depends on how much time and energy you want to devote to dating but...here are my ideas: 1. Contact several gastroenterologists and ask if you can post your e-mail or contact information for dating purposes for people with gluten intolerance, 2. There is usually a Celiac support group within metropolitan areas,...
  12. Hi Lisa, I have been gluten-free for a year. I feel pretty good. My biggest problem is flatulence after meals and a tiny wheeze with accidental ingestion of gluten or too much dairy. Do you need to take any supplements for possible malabsorption? (Perhaps folic-acid or calcium) I hope this helps... Tammy
  13. I am always looking for practical ways to achieve optimal digestion. This works better than my digestive enzymes. My husband and I have been drinking Lily of the Desert Whole Leaf Aloe Vera Juice for the past few days and my flatulence after meals is gone. It always stimulates a healthy morning BM. I will do more research to find out the long term...
  14. I can understand the frustration. I was able to reduce some of my frustration by finding foods and companies that manufacture truly gluten-free foods. I try to stay away from most prepackaged foods. Amy's makes a few vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free frozen entrees. I only like the black bean entree. When going out to eat, I found that both the...
