Hi, Ronni had her biopsy yesterday. Before her biopsy Ronni's doctor explained to me that it was thought that celiac disease affected the intestines but they have come to learn it affects the stomach as well so she was going to do a biopsy of her stomach to. After the biopsy her doctor told me her stomach had some inflamation you can imagine how upset... -

Hi My daughters blood test came back positive she goes for her biopsy on the 29th of this month. I took Ronni to the doctors because she was always sick. Well ronni hasnt had diarrhea or vomiting this month she still hasn't gained any weight and shes not gluten-free. I was just wondering could the blood test be wrong? maybe this is just wishful thinking... -

Hi Emsmom, My five year old daughter has the same symptoms, two blood tests came back positive for celiac disease. Ronni goes for her biopsy on the 29th of this month its hard to see her in pain and sick most of the time but I was told not to change her diet. Im confused this is all new to me. Hillary -

Thank you Sarah. No ronni hasnt started the diet yet in fact her doctor hasn't mentioned it to me she said we will discuss it after her biopsy what I have learned about the diet is through the message board. In regards to having a biopsy I thought it was standard procedure to have one after the blood tests. I just hope she'll be okay and Im concerned on... -

Hi, My daughter is 5 years old both blood tests are posative for celiac disease, she gets her biopsy in two weeks. my five year old daughter had two blood test both positive for celiac disease. She gets her biopsy Jan 22. I need help cutting down on her gluten to give her some relief.
