  1. I hope your procedure went well today!! Did you get your cheeseburger?? I hope it was good! The results came back negative for celiac; however, they did find chronic focal inflammation in my stomach and chronic inflammation in the antrum. I was negative for HPylori. The reading that I have seen says that in absense of HPylori, focal inflammation in...
  2. Thanks!!!!! [ quote name='cyberprof' date='Aug 27 2007, 12:13 AM' post='338848'] Good luck! Here's to an easy procedure and some nice (gluten-free) treats when you wake up!
  3. To clarify, the "she says" is my doctor. The nurse pract that I need to talk to is someone in the office!
  4. Thanks so much for keeping up on the post!!!! I made it through "ok". I woke up in the am with my friendly monthly reminder that didn't help too much though! The procedure itself was a piece of cake. I had a great crew and no real problems. In terms of "findings', they did find some irritation throughout my stomach that caused them to take some extra...
  5. I am off to have my endoscopy/colonoscopy tomorrow. I took the pills for my prep today and needless to say, I think that I am ready for the procedure! Aside from a little nausea from drinking so much water, I think that it went well. Ironically, if I didn't know any better, I would have thought I was glutened! LOL. Anyway, right now, I am just a bit of...
  6. Hi All, I finally received my blood work back and had my 1st appointment with the gastro. My bloodwork did come back negative. My doctor didn't see the results because the admin staff I handed them to didn't put them in my chart right then. Ug. Anyway, she is sending me for an endoscopy and colonoscopy the end of this month. Has anyone else had to...
  7. Thank you!!! I would definately plant myself at the office; however, I am currently out of state. I, too, think it is unacceptable to wait three days!! Hopefully, I can find something out tomorrow when they open!
  8. I called the physician's office yesterday for my lab results and was told they were back and to all back this morning for the results. When I called this morning, I was told that they were in; however, they could not be released to me because the doctor had not signed off on them yet. She then preceeded to tell me that it cook take up until Friday to have...
  9. Choosing to bypass my GP, I will be seeing the GI for the 1st time on August 2nd. Quick question....should I proactively test through Enterolab before talking to the doctor or should I hold off. The more I read, the more I believe this is what I am suffering from...I had pancakes yesterday and am still "feeling" the big D.
  10. Thank you!!!! Do they put you out for an endoscopy?
  11. Three days is very reasonable! I will definately stay on Gluten until the test! Thank you for responding to my questions! I really appreciate it! I am not feeling as lost as I was last night.
  12. Thank you! Part of me is really dreading finding out if this is what I am dealing with. I like food and to be honest, I am a bit concerned about the possibility of having to radically change how I eat. However, I need to find out if it is for obvious reasons. My grandmother died from stomach cancer and my sister has had stomach problems they couldn't figure...
  13. Thank you!!! I have been spending ALOT of time on this board today reading!!!! Learning quite a bit and am feeling more and more like I may have some issues that need to be addressed.
  14. Thanks so much for writing back! I have been pleasently plump since getting married. Yo-yo dieter. Currently, not real happy with the weight, thus the Alli. I, too, ahve gained alot in the past few years. I forgot to mention that I also have polycystic ovaries and adenomyosis. Thus I have painful ovulation and not very consistent periods. Not sure...
  15. I am not sure I belong here, but am going to discuss what I am going through and see what you think. I would greatly appreciate any input as I am not sure what to think right now. If I think hard about it, my problems may have started as early as 14 years ago. I had chronic diarrhea with mucous. I lost about 10 lbs. I passed what I thought was a worm...
