  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. Me too. I'm a veggie and have had to add fish back in to my diet. I feel like I crave protein a lot, but I also know my body is still adjusting to the gluten-dairy (and soy, unfortunately for me) free life style. I've been trying to read up on a lot of recipes to keep thing interesting, but having to cook all the time and drag around 40 containers a day ...
  3. Subtype 6,6 (can someone explain what that actually means??) Have had bone pain since I was a kid (I'm 38) - told it was just "growing pains", weight issues since I was 13 even though I exercised as much and ate no more than anyone else - it's just been piling on ever since. Although, about 10 years ago I was diagnosed with Migraines and anxiety and...
  4. Hi - Wow. Answers for you: yes - I have Hashimotos Thyroiditis. My fam is Irish and English decent. I don't even know what hemochromatosis is, so I'll have to google that one. ;-) I suffer from migraines as do my Mom, Dad and brother. A Pos on the blood type. I don't have other allgergies that I know of, but this all seems to be a work in progress.....
  5. Hi - I got my dx today from Entero - do you agree with my assessment? Celiacs with an intolerance with soy and dairy.... Any thoughts would be helpful -I can't see my doc until next week... Thanks!! A) Gluten Sensitivity Stool and Gene Panel Complete *Best test/best value Fecal Antigliadin IgA 29 (Normal Range <10 Units) Fecal Antitissue...
  6. Hi Karen - Thanks for all the tips! I got my dx today - celiac, no dairy, no soy. Makes being a veggie even harder. I already cook most of my own food - not much processed stuff, but still it's funny 'cuz it's like I have to rethink my whole life and something as simple as apples and PB just didn't occur to me.. The Taco's sound awsome - I'll have...
  7. Hi Laura! That's great to hear! I'm over in the Factoria area. Are there any groups around here that you're involved with? Kelly
  8. Hi Everyone! Thanks for the replies. Remebering to get protien in every meal I think will help... it's just having to think and plan it more that's part of the issue. It's an adjustment for sure. Celiac-mommy - I've never heard of Biochem Raw foods - what is it? Thanks again - I appriciate the input!! Kelly
  9. Hi all - I'm still waiting on a dx from entero, but have Hashimotos and have been trying the gluten-free for a couple of weeks now and feel better already. I've found, however, that I'm hungry all the time. I have 100# to lose, so I want to stay away from the replacement carbs too, but this waking up at 3am hungry is getting a little old. I'm a veggie...
  10. Hi - I'm also new to the group. Live in Bellevue. Still waiting on results from Entero, but feel it'll be positive as I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and already feel better having been off gluten for a couple of weeks. I'm 38, divorced, no kids. Nice to "meet" everyone! BTW, the www.seattleceliacs.com site doesn't work - is that still a valid...
  11. Hi! I'm new to all of this - still waiting on the Enterolab test results, but have Hashimoto's Throiditis and my doc and I figure it's 'cuz of the gluten. I've been off the gluten for a week now and already feel much better. Anyhoo, I'm also a veggie - been one for 13 years now. I'm making myself eat fish (it's not easy as I'm a veggie for animal reason as...
