  2. thanks so much for th replies! my acne is getting a little better, not too much though. my mom also researched something about salicylic acid and how you can be allergic to that as well. unfortunately it is the active ingredient in most, if not all, of the acne treatment washes that i have been trying. -not saying that i have a salicylic acid intolerance...
  3. I am totally new to all of this...have only been on the gluten-free diet for less than a week. So you are saying that there are you can be a non-celiac but still have a gluten intolerance? I am going to try to research it but if you could give me a little insight on that, it would be great. I have also had a very positive dietary response already, but...
  4. Have you tried the gluten free diet? That's what we did - without a dx. We are going through enterolab, but have had really great results with the diet. Give it a try - what can you lose but your symptoms?
  5. Anybody know if TCBY (frozen yogurt) is gluten free. If you know, how did you find out? I am new to this and would like to know how you arrive at the answer. i.e., Is there a website or something?
  6. I am VERY new to this whole thing. I'm doing ok with the diet BUT I am really hoping my eczema and acne are caused by gluten and will clear up! I also have a very itchy scalp. Anybody out ther have these problems or am I alone?
  7. I don't have a dx and either does my daughter BUT all bloating, gas, and diarrhea have stopped since going gluten free. We are still new to this, but are enjoying the new positive "side effects". So, I am just wondering...so you say you have celiac disease, or do you say you are gluten intolerant? People ask me why I do this. They want me to validate it...
  8. Can anyone out there tell me why all the gluten free pre packaged foods tend to have a higher calorie content than the conventional counterparts. I love the pizza crusts but for a 7" round it's 280 calories. The hamburger buns are 270. So as I am new to this whole thing, I really don't want to GAIN weight just because the bread substitutes are so high. Even...
