  1. Thanks Carla. Did you go through your gyn Dr or a GI Dr.? I'm sure either one can do it. But I do have my yearly with my gyno coming up and can possibly ask for that then. Thanks.
  2. I would like to have a stool test done for gluten sensitivity/celiac, yeast, bacteria overgrowth. There are quite a few different opinions here about enterolab (which my dietician recommended). I also think they do not do bacteria testing. Does anyone recommend a reliable lab who can test for all three? Or at least a reliable lab for gluten testing...
  3. Thanks to you all for your responses. It does make sense to me that whether GI or Celiac that you should avoid gluten always. The hard part is not actually being diagnosed and wondering if I'm giving up foods when I really don't have to. I've been working with the same Dr. since March and think I may need to seek out a Celiac specialist. I haven't found...
  4. I am in the process of my second attempt at a gluten free diet. The first time, I had some improvement (my main symptom is bloating), but I think I was getting glutened without knowing it (quaker rice cakes, rice dream and oats). This time around I am seeing more improvement and really think that gluten has been the cause of my abnormal bloating over...

  6. Hi all, this is my first post. About 6 months ago, I suddenly became bloated all the time. By the end of the day I look like I'm 5-6 months pregnant. I have also began to deal with issues of constipation. Some gas pains, but nothing too serious. I first went to my gyno for an ultrasound but it looked good.
