About Me
Ayn lives in north Alabama and works as a project manager for an engineering consultant. Born and raised in Kansas, Alabama was a big change for her. Instead of gently rolling hills and big snows, she’s surrounded by mountains and a slower way of life without snow. Ayn spends much of her leisure time walking in the mountains and taking photographs of the wildlife. As the daughter of a physician, medicine has been a lifelong research interest and she hopes to see a treatment for celiac sprue soon.

I would offer yet another explanation or possibility for the link between celiac/gluten intolerance and pancreatitis, which is sphincter of Oddi dysfunction (SOO). I've been reading some of the posts on celiac disease and liver disease/problems/issues. I don't want to complicate things, but I did want to add something to the discussion. If anyone can explain what might be going on, I would be grateful as my docs are quite stumped. I tested negative, twice, for celiac disease 8 years ago (blood and biopsy). However...
