    My daughter has celiac disease and I have been a stay at home mom for the last five years. I am interested in being involved with celiac groups and helping others know more about the disease. <br />I love to decorate and be crafty.

  1. My daughter who is in Kindergarden is "playing up" her Celiac at school. The school called me to tell me she said her stomach was hurting because of her celiac. She was in the nurses station for about 30 minutes. I ,without thinking, let her have french fries last night from Wendy's...so she truely was probably feeling bad, however, when I picked her up...
  2. My daughter has celiac and we hesitate to eat out with her very often but, of course, there are times when you have no choice. I find that the only way, in most cases, my daughter won't consume gluten in a restraunt is to always ask for the manager. Explain every little detail about what has to happen in order for your daughter to not get a cross contamination...
  3. Hello! My daughter has celiac and was never offically diagnosed. She started showing signs and symptoms at 3 years old. They did a biopsy and it came back mostly negative.
