    ARCHIVED Gray Hair

As a grey-haired celiac man, surely you are just pulling my leg? There goes my George Clooney-like appeal!!
  3. Lollerskates! Truly awesome. Is the design your own?
  4. Thank you all so much for your kind feedback, I very much appreciated your thoughtful responses. Kind regards, Mark
  5. Hi, This is particulary for the USA guys, who seem to have alot more info on this. I had a negative endoscopy but severely positive TtG and Iga serology. Are there any other conditions that could cause this blood result? Thank you for your time. Kind regards, Mark
  6. Thank you all so much for your replies. I appreciate your comments and thoughts. Kind regards. Mark
  7. Hi guys, I started my gluten free diet a week ago and was wondering how long each of you were on the diet before you noticed your symptoms cleared up? Not necessarily any intestinal damage, more like stuff like fatigue, etc. I have non-DH hives as part of my reaction and they are driving me nuts. Can't wait till they disappear. Cheers, Mark

  9. Hi, The initial gliadin IgA test was greater than 100 (normal range 0-20), the tTG (ISA) test was 300 (normal range 0-40). Cheers, Mark
  10. Thanks so much. I think the thing I hate most about the whole diagnosis is the whole waiting part! Never eating pizza again I can handle but one week waiting for pathology results kills me!
  11. Hi, I just had my endoscopy done following two highly celiac suggestive blood tests (through the roof would be a better description). When I came out it was still a bit of a blur but I remember my GI seeming a little deflated afterwards. He said because of my strong immune reaction he expected my small intestine to resemble cobblestones, but instead only...
  12. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my post. Interesting just had lunch with a friend here in Australia who is also a celiac and he had some sage advice 'wierd stuff happens'. He said he had all sorts of symptoms. particularly before he was diagnosed and he gave up wasting too much time and energy trying to get to the bottom of them. I think...
  13. Hi, I had a positive blood test for coeliac disease a couple of weeks ago and am due to have the follow-up endoscopy next week. This is not such a big deal and am coping with it OK. However around the same time I have been developing hives. Most of the time they are like little red spots that can itch like crazy, get inflamed if I scratch them and...
