  3. Hello All, I have a bread maker and wanted to try making gluten free bread. I bought a mix El Petro brand brown rice bread. I followed the directions and the bread didn't rise only about half way up in the bread machine. I thought maybe I had killed the yeast as the directions said to use very hot water.   7. I am not sure about other Countries but here in Canada you get a tax break on all the "specialty" food we have to buy on a regular basis. Keep track monthly and come tax time you can claim it on your forms. Not exactly sure what the break is as this is my first year being diagnosed, but my Lawyer informed me that you do get a break.   8. Hello All, I seem to be getting mixed signals about wether or not Rolled Oats are Gluten Free?? Some sources say that because of the way there are processed they are not gluten free, but sone packages don't state anything about wheat??   10. I have been using Wheat Free Tamari Soy Sauce with out anyproblems for months now. However if you have a soy allergy then no soya sauce for you. Also Miso soup contains wheat as a thickener, it is not Gluten Free... Good Luck, Connie
  11. I am not sure but I think I may be having a problem digesting dairy in addition to the Gluten Allergy. I have been taking lactaid pills everytime I eat dairy and it doesn't seem to be making a difference.   12. I have bought my own toster and I got rid of any wooden spoons or bowls, I'll check on the pots and pans maybe I should just buy new ones and only use them for my cooking. I never thought about toothpaste, make-up and other bathrooms stuff I will check that out thanks..Are most toothpastes gluten free?? Thanks for the advice i'll check into it.
