  1. Just wanted to add...I think sriddle may be onto something with carageenan being problamatic. It is, by the way in the Silk Soymilk which is used at Starbuck's AND most PediaSure forulations. I thought I might be lactose intolerant AND/or soy intolerant. Because I thought I had diary issues, I switched to having soy-no water chai's @ Starbuck's intstead...
  2. Wanted to add a few things... It could be possible that the ulcerations your MD was seeing during the endoscopy are the early stages of damage to the villi in your small intestine. Just a thought. It takes time for villi to become damaged. Just because they are not yet, and the doctor seems to believe there is not absorption does not mean you therefore...
  3. Thanks for the info and support! I am so exhausted right now. I'm sleeping roughly 11 hours a night and I'm still tired. As in, I could conceivable sleep a few more hours. Ugh!
  4. I am quite new to this too, just a few days into eating gluten-free so I'm not much help yet, except to say I'm here for support as a fellow new gluten-free girl. (although you have a few weeks up on me) Just to note: I had attempted going gluten-free a little over a year ago, started to feel great, and like a complete fool slowly started to eat gluten...
  5. I'll make this short and sweet. My name is Kate, 26 yr old PT student. Diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Just started going gluten-free several days ago and am feeling worse then ever. Bad gas and bloat, pains and nausea, reflux, headache, insomnia, fatigue, etc...almost like an intensification of my usual daily symptoms... Can any of you share your experiences...
