I read an earlier topic that the biopsy of DH should not be in the actual rash area, but in the healthy skin around it. I would like to get this confirmed and more info. I finally had my new doc confirm DH even after my internist insisted it was foliculitis. Ridiculous!! I figured out what it was be internet research and the 4th doc I went to confirmed it was indeed DH.
