Does anyone know if the grilled chicken fruit salad at O'Charleys is gluten free? It sounds good. I think its called California Salad.

Yes, I have made pumpkin and you can make coconut cream pie. My husband is diabetic so I use mostly Splenda. I think any kind of milk substitute would work and so would egg substitute. This is a good inexpensive recipe: Impossible Chocolate Pie Combine in a blender: 2 cups milk 4 eggs 2/3 C. sugar 1/2 cup gluten-free flour (or pancake mix) 1/3 C. melted margarine 1/3 c. cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla pinch of salt Use part of margarine and flour to grease a 10" pie plate. If you go on a gluten free diet without being tested by a blood test or a biopsy, you will not be able to have a definite confirmation of Celiac Disease. You will test as not having celiac disease if you are already gluten free. For insurance purposes and other reasons it is good to have a definite diagnosis.
