Oh my goodness yes... I felt like I needed to eat almost constantly for several months after going gluten free. Like you, I also had gained weight in the time before hand. But even with eating so frequently after going to a gluten-free diet, I lost a fair amount of weight!. Just remember to go for the healthier foods when you want to snack, and... -

I fit the 'profile', and had the testing done a few years back, but no dice. *shrugs* I have since found other reasons for many of the symptoms... would have been nice to be able to sum it all up with pyroluria though. Hope you find some answers.

Or am I wishing for the impossible? I've adjusted pretty well to the whole no gluten/soy/dairy/eggs cooking... but every now and then I just run into something I can't figure out a way to substitute. Anyone have experience making a good cake icing this way? Suggestions to try? -

What kind of vegetable oils? I can't have anything soy either. This is all brand new to me, and I'm oh-so-very confused!
