    yea i know wat u mean now...i asked my girlfriend who's a student nurse and she told me the same thing...= ) i started again to take Nitro Tech, itz a protein supplement for weight gaining for people who work out...i read the ingredients throughly and none of it has anything that contains gluten...so i'm hoping that with me workin out and takin this stuff...

    i've always had that same problem too...always worked out hard and just got really strong, but my body never got anywhere...i always thought that it was my metabolism was too fast, but now i kow that its b/c i have celiac disease.

    Aren't we all at a big risk of getting cancer if we abuse the fact that we are Celiacs, and that we must adhere to a gluten-free diet?

    I have been losing weight consistently and for a long time...since last year i have lost almost 20lbs. well i having been keepin in shape or anything, but shouldn't that mean that i should be gain weight?... what should i do

    does anybody know about any research thats bein done on celiac disease that would give us some hope in the future for us or for our children to not have celiac disease? i'm wondering how far they are from a cure?

    i was in the same boat as some...been careless and even cheated once and a while till one day it all caught up to me and i was in hours of massive pain to the abdomen...i then realized that me cheating is goin to hurt, someone else already told me too that even though u don't feel any pain, u can get cancer and won't even know it till itz too late... eddie

    my grandfather never drank..but died of Liver Cancer when my mother was a teen...but they were from a Korean Ethnic back ground...i know it is rare in the Asians to have celiac disease...but i'm an American born and raised...she doesn't like to talk about it...i'll ask my dr. again for a second bloodwork, and i have been goin through meds for my hernia, hemmroids...

    i called DR. Green and went through Columbia but they only take Oxford Insurance...and i have GHI...i've been also lookin for a DR that specializes in celiac disease...i live in LongIsland...but willing to go to Manahattan...

    well i'm 22, 5'5" @ 133lbs. i WAS 150lbs a year ago...i eat differently, smaller portions as much as a i can, only b/c itz hard for me to cook and/or buy gluten-free food...i have Nitro Tech at home...a work out protein supplement, hoping that the ingredients will be fine enough for me to take and to gain back some of the weight i just keep losing...does...

    i get cramps everyday w/o my meds, but if i maintain the diet and meds then i seem to be alright almost immediatly...just gotta stop cheating...someone wrote back to me that they don't get any symptoms too when they cheat, but is afraid of getting cancer...so i don't want to be put in further harmful situation...

    u know i guess one other symptom i do have would be the weight loss...i mean last year i was 150...and now i'm around 135...and i don't do much anymore so shouldn't i be a lil haeavier b/c of my laziness...?

    i actually ate a lot of food that i shouldn't have eaten because i guess i had somewhat convinced myself that i may have gotten a false positive, and i got really sick this morning and it hurt a lot....i mean a lot, to the point where i was about to call 911...so i now know that it sometimes hurts and sometimes doesn't, and now i've learned my lesson... ...

    i went through all necessary bloodwork, and biopsy by one doctor...but i feel fine when i eat Gluten...could they both be a flase pos.?...maybe the Doctor has knw much about celiac disease?

    I've been gluten-free before then i had to go away to Dominican Republic...and for those of u who go on vacations know that itz hard to eat gluten-free foods...So i ate everythig that i wanted to...i've been diagnosed for about 3 months now...and for the past month i've from time to time have eaten Gluten foods...and i feel fine...excpet for the bloating...

    i just got off the phone with my doctor and he said the results of the biopsy said that i have mild celiac disease...wat does that mean?...does he know wat he's talkin about?

    Well last friday i went to the hospital to have a biopsy and damn yes a colonoscopy(at 22 too!!!)...i got hemmrroids, stomach ulcer, and a hernia!!! it never stops does it...well he says it takes a few days for the biopsy result to come in so i'll wait to see what happens later.... well guys i'm leavin tonite to go to Dominican Republic for vacation...first...
