I believe they are a separate issue, however, I can say that I had severe allergy issues, both food and pollen, and took allergy shots for years before I was diagnosed with celiac disease and went gluten-free. After I went gluten-free my immune system seemed to deal with my allergies better, and many of them went away.
  9. Gluten ataxia is caused by celiac disease and/or gluten sensitivity. I would say that it's probably best not to inhale it, even if it doesn't trigger the gluten ataxia or gluten sensitivity. Can you wear a mask?

  14. If you scrub the cookware well it should be safe. You can also wash them in the dishwasher after to be sure. I doubt gluten could absorb into enamel.

  18. Also, if your diet has been 100% gluten-free for 10 years and you still have the same issues it's important for you to follow up and figure out what is going on. Definitely check with your doctor, which it sounds like you're already doing, and keep a food diary to identify other allergy/intolerance issues.

  21. If you've been happily gluten-free for 10 years I don't see any reason to start eating gluten again to be retested, unless you're not happy with the diet, and doubt your self diagnosis. If you need a diagnosis to stay on the gluten-free diet, then it probably makes sense to do a gluten challenge and eat gluten daily for 4-6 weeks for a celiac disease blood...
  22. Do you recall what type of test you took? Was it a blood panel for celiac disease? If so, then you likely need to avoid gluten, and not just wheat. Here is a list of foods to avoid if gluten is your issue:
