    ARCHIVED The Dentist And Gluten

Thanks everyone! They gave me a list of products that they will use tomorrow, and I have contacted all of the companies. They said the products are gluten free. One company, however, would not talk to me. They said it is "their policy to only speak to dentists, not the patients" That company is Henry Schein and the product is Benzo-jel. Does anyone...

    ARCHIVED The Dentist And Gluten

I've done research on the internet and have read some posts on the forum about going to the dentist and avoiding gluten. The dentist that I am going to tomorrow (for the first time) has a staff member with celiac disease and several patients. But, I'm still concerned. I guess because I've seen too many times people say "sure, it is gluten free" when it really...
  3. I contacted the company and they told me that their products do not contain gluten, even the shampoo called "golden wheat" ... that is just a name not sure I believe. They were also in a study about which organic products actually contained hidden chemicals. Giovanni was one of them that did. Other products like Aubrey were rated better, not containing...
  4. Hi I am desperate for a good multi that does not contain gluten. I tried MegaFood Women's one daily, label said gluten free. I had a reaction (so did my daughter, who is nursing) and I contacted the company. I found out it does have gluten, but because it doesn't have "very much" they can label it gluten free Someone told me about Pioneer vitamins...
  5. I found out that my multi-vitamin contained gluten so cutting that out has helped. Other than that, I am doing things to speed the recovery of my digestive tract so that I can start digesting things properly again. Taking herbs like slippery elm, marshmallow, chamomile, and aloe all help coat the digestive tract and help it heal.
  6. Thanks gluten15. I've taken Now products before. I'll check out the web site. I just found out the multi I've been taking contains gluten...
  7. Thanks Gwen. Potatoes are nightshades. I am looking into my shampoos, supplements etc... I am not eating soy, nuts or grains period. Thanks for your support
  8. Thanks for all your suggestions. Is there anything that may be good to put topically on my daughters rashes until they clear up? She reacted to the gluten in my breastmilk when I was eating gluten-containing foods. She itches the rashes.... I have heard of putting diluted apple cider vinegar on the rash (as well as putting some in her bath). That seems...
  9. Hi, I posted in the "Parents of Kids or Babies With Celiac Disease" because both myself and my daughter are celiac. We just found out last week. I've read that people will feel better within 3-5 days of not eating gluten. I still have stomach pain and nausea -- mostly at night. Here is a snippet from my other post.. " All my life I have...
  10. Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself. I found out recently (within the past week) that my daughter and I are both celiac. She is almost 12 months old. She has had rashes basically since she was born. She is breastfeed, and I found out that wheat bothered her through my milk when I would eat wheat but I never thought it could be celiac. I did not know...
