    Does anyone know if Hunts Tomato Sauce is safe to use or not? Mom made sauce for Lasagna tonight and used Hunt' Tomato Sauce. Luckily she did not also use Western Families Italian Paste, as when I just looked at it a minute ago, I found that it contains Wheat Gluten.     I'm enjoying these foods too much. I'm trying to loose the weight I've gained from being GI . But I've found I've enjoyed the Gluten free diet too much. You people are creating too many tasty foods. Stop I beg you. LOL. At least I have not gained weight.

    Knowing that the only way I'll eat my egg rolls is by using rice paper, can rice paper be fried? I'd love to be able to have a cruchie, juicy, hot egg roll. Any good receipe for egg drop soup? I used to use packaged ingredients to make mine, but I can't now because the package contains No No's. Help is greatly appreciated, as the topic here is making me salviate...

    Thanks for the compliments on my avatar. I've had cats do that too. BTW Missy'sMom, I used the sorghum in place of the garfava flower and the bread turned out beautiful. And better tasting.

    I tried that bread receipe (by Laurie- Lorka) mentioned in Mamatides topic. It turned out fine. My parents tried it and my dad said it reminds him of Rye bread.     My mother has a consultation with a gastro doc Friday. Her reg Doc did not pooh pooh the idea of possible Celiac. I want to print out a check list of symptoms. Is there a web site that has such a check list? The sites I've come across only have a few symptoms listed. And a lot list different symptoms, but I don't want to print out lots of listed symptoms...

    My dad and I cleaned the machine throughly several times. He even removed screws and and that turny thinga-ma-jig, whatha -you -call-it , and other removeable items and cleaned those. The machine looks to have been used once and then gotten rid of. It's probably cleaner now than when it left the warehouse. I would of gotten a new one, but i have no money...

    My dad bought me a second hand bread making machine by Oster. I'm not sure how to bake the bread for a gluten-free diet. It does not have settings to make gluten-free bread, so I'm not sure what settings to enter. Do i use settings for white bread, wheat, sourdough????? How long do I bake it? Is there a web site that explains all this, with how to bake bread...

    Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I don't know if the Hep B shots were live or not. I've had vaccines before, with seemingly no problems. Thinking back on everything though, before I moved to Oregon, I lived in Virginia, I one day woke up for work and felt horrible. I was soooooo bloated I could not button or zip my pants or the lower buttons...

    I never smoked, am allergic to it. What is Nattokinase? As to the Factor V Leiden ( FVL) or APS. I have no way of getting that done at this time. I'm trying to get on the OHP (Oregon Health Plan) or if I continually get better and find I can go back to work I'll get the test done then. Thanks for the response. Morgan

    I don't know if I have a clotting disorder. I have no insurance, not even then, so they only treated me for my time there. My Doctor did constant blood work to make sure my levels were acceptable. But I had to stop the tests as my parents were the ones paying for my medical tests and they are on limited income. So I'm on aspirin therapy. But sometimes I wonder...

    In Dec 2006, a day or two before New Years Eve I was hospitalized, for DVT-Deep Vein Thrombosis, AKA Blood Clot. Not only that, according to medical papers, I was reading the other night, from that stay, I had a couple of blood clots in my right calf and was critical. Normal range for no blood clots is 0-552.
