  1. FYI, these were the ingredients listed in the BBQ sauce.....seems okay to me? Sugar, water, white vinegar, tomato paste, salt, modified corn starch, spices, smoke flavour, dehydrated onion and garlic, canola and/or soybean oil, citric acid, tamarind extract, caramel colour.
  2. THANK YOU. Mucho helpful. I don't think that I have a prob with eggs or soy, but now I am starting to think I may just try cutting them out and see how it goes.
  3. Thanks muchly for your reply. Hrrrmmm...while I know that I am lactose intolerant - hence the soy milk - I never did have problems with soy before. So, I could be sensative to it now that I have cut the gluten?? If so, what else do I use for cereal in the mornings? I thought my BBQ sauce was gluten free, the only ingredient I questioned was vinager...
  4. Oh, if it helps at all this is what I had to eat the last two days BEFORE my bad morning this morning. 5. There are a few things that I have been wondering about regarding if they are safe for a gluten free diet: Canola oil - is this okay to be in products? Marvelon 28 - not sure if my birth control pills are okay? I tried emailing to company, and they have ignored me. They do list their ingredients in their pamphlet, and the seem okay? Smuckers Jam...
  6. Hello, I just recently ( 5 days ago ) started a gluten free diet and I feel GREAT. One thing I am wondering though is if my other allergy - lactose - could be mroe sensative when off gluten? Only asking because I had a really bad morning this morning, and someone said maybe it was from the mayo I had yesterday. " Before " going gluten free however I used...
  7. Thanks everyone for responding so quickly. Yes, I am also lactose intolerant - hence the soy milk, however " back in the day " I could tolerate tiny amounts - like what is found in mayo and soups like clam chowder. Could I be more sensative now? I am thinking I am just gonna try to stick with a basic diet from now one. Stuff that I KNOW is 100% safe...
  8. Hahahaha, oh, and every day I do take a half of a caltrate with vitamin D pill ( says on there gluten free ) along with a one a day weight smart vitamin ( again, says on bottle gluten free )
  9. Oh, and also, every day I drink a LOT of different teas - usually peppermint and green tea. Last night as well I did indulge in a few drinks of vodka, but it was a potato vodka that has nto bothered me before.

    ARCHIVED Help

Okay......this may be graphic, but I need help figuring out what is wrong with me. I woke this morning feeling okay, but then once went to the washroom it all went downhill from there. First, I had to strain for anything to happen, and when something did it was a small amount and compact ( I canot beleive that I am writing this ). Then, 10 minutes later...
  11. Thank you everyone for your replies. This site has been so helpful to me and everyone is so nice here. I woudl have liked to wait to get tested / a biopsy before going on the gluten free diet however I just could not live with the pain / uncomfort that I was in anymore. I was missing so much work that I was going to get fired, my boyfriend and I were...
  12. Hello all, another newbie here. Long story short after MUCH frusteration with doctors and such, I decided to start doing some research and trial and error on my own to help and make my HORRIBLY stomach upsets and BM's disappear. I was missing work all the time, having constant loose stools, horrible gas and stomach pains, etc. etc. It was awkward and embarassing...
  13. Hi there. I am a newbie to the gluten free diet, and unfortunatly self-diagnosed for now as I could just not live with the pain while waiting for the specialist. Anyway, I was wondering if it is normal to have dizzy spells, sometimes feel naseated, and feel very lethargic and weak with no energy when first coming off gluten / wheat? Thanks :-)
  14. I just recently received this from Smirnoff...... March 31, 2008 Dear Consumer, Thank you for taking time to contact Smirnoff.
