  1. Wow, we have a lot in common. I still eat dairy. But I have started taking probiotics on my own because of the diet, and I have also lost a ton of weight. It's crazy. I have been gluten free since January or so of this year and it has helped a lot. I can actually eat food and stuff now, whereas before I just felt sick all the time and didn't eat much...
  2. Thanks to everyone for your great replies so far. This is great. I actually have a reason for asking, and I will probably reveal what that is pretty soon. But I want everyone's non biased responses first before saying anything. I have found that there are LOTS of things that I cannot buy at the store that would just make my life easier if they had it...
  3. No, actually I am asking for another reason. And yes, it is hypothetical. I just want responses to my question. Thanks for the criticism but it is falling on deaf ears. I obviously already know about Gluten Free foods or I wouldn't be here. Thanks anyway.
  4. Okay, So I am super curious. If everyone on this forum, had to pick one or two things, or maybe even more, that they could get at the store or online that is gluten free, what would it be. I am curious what people look for the most. Which items, foods, anything. Please let me know. The more replies the better. Be specific if you like, soy, lactose...
  5. Hi! Sorry I have been gone for a while. I have been super busy. Working two jobs, four kids, the works. LOL But I have a question for you brilliant people. You all know way more than I do, I like to pick your brains! I was wondering if you knew if Pork and Beans were gluten free, and if not what is a good substitute? Also, what about chocolate...
  6. Hello, How is everyone today? So I had a question for everyone. Anybody with any input whatsoever is always welcome, I love to read everyone's experiences. I have been on the diet for about two or three weeks and have noticed that I feel so much better than I used to. But I do have two questions for everyone. First of all, did anyone have any...
  7. Peaches, I used to love peaches when I was pregnant but then for the last two or three years I haven't really been into them. But ever since I started the diet I love peaches with cottage cheese. And I can't eat a lot of spicy food. I love spicy, not too spicy but spicy, and I can't eat it. It hurts my stomach. I'm a sad panda. And I have been wanting...
  8. Wow that is a great idea. I got the Bob's Red Mill stuff. In fact my store carries lots of batters and stuff that are gluten free. It's expensive but worth it. LOL I will definitely try that. So a little bit more fluid? I am trying to think of what it called for. And an extra egg. I will try that. I am not usually a big pancake eater. But on the...
  9. Thank you all for your suggestions. Now I can go looking for some stuff. All of the gluten free foods except the regular ones that are normally on the shelf are super expensive. My dad and I were talking about it the other night after I went shopping. It's pricey. But worth it to make myself feel better. LOL Thank you all again!
  10. I think my store carries both pure maple and Log Cabin. The problem is, living in Montana, there aren't very many health food stores and I am not sure how to find some of these brands. I have never heard of them which means my store doesn't carry them. LOL But now I have a list of stuff to go look for at the store. Thank you!
  11. Oooh, that sounds good. I got these gluten free waffles from the store and that is why I was asking about syrup. But now I am gonna have to learn how to make those gluten free pancakes because that sounds wicked good. I love cream cheese. Thank you!
  12. Hello, My name is Lexi and I am new to this group. I am curious if anyone knows what pancake syrups are gluten free (if any)? Please help, I am new to this diet, and it is helping, and I really don't wanna mess up. I'm not very good at identifying ingredients and stuff yet. Getting better, but any help with any thing you might know or wanna suggest...
