I had a blood test sent away years...

	LOL thanks! My doctor also actually told me there was no test that could determine a gene for coeliacs... when I told him I had read about it he then said oh well if there was it'll be too expensive to test anyway...!!

	No its not the same doctor who referred me, although I have had to fight to get any tests for myself anyway - the docs seem to be too busy and think ''well, IBS can be extremely painful'' is going to solve everything!!! I have another appt for him for thursday and hope to get a blood test done then. It makes you just want to bang your head against a brick...

	Here's a good one... I am being tested at the moment, my son was taken off wheat as a baby due to vomiting, he now is back on wheat and is showing classic symptoms, black eyes and yellow skin after bread/cakes, stomach aches, vomiting, no attention, cant sit still, etc etc. I took him to the Dr today, who told me he is on the 10th percentile for weight...

	Think you can get it pretty much anywhere! I have a rash (not diagnosed but pretty sure) develop when I eat gluten, in my hair, eyebrows, ears, back of thighs, and under my boobs!!!! (sorry for the decsription LOL)

	Can anyone help me... I just spent about an hour licking thankyou letter envelopes for my sons birthday and now feel really tired and sick and have a cracking headache. I am in the process of being dx and was wondering is it a relatively common thing for it to be in them and is there enough gluten to cause a reaction like this?

	YHi thanks! yes he has; we have been looking in to ADD and ADHD as he cant concentrate on anything or keep still!!! Unfortunately I cant use enterolabs, I am in the UK. That sucks, Itd be a great help. I think i'm gonna go to the doc monday and tell him everything and see if I can get him tested too. at least if it was disgnosed I can then get really strict...
