  1. So sorry... Hopefully after your testing and educating him a little he will realize how immature and mean he has been. Good luck!
  2. I am one of those people who gets sick about every other week still... BUT I have to say, my life is SO MUCH BETTER even when I get accidentally glutened every now and then... It is frustrating when it happens and I do worry about when it is going to happen again even when I am feeling well, but the fact that I can actually go a whole week feeling "good...
  3. "I'd probably be served something with organic wheat germ in it because it was 'healthy and natural'." ______________________________________________________________________________________- This made me laugh out loud.... It's hilarious because it is so true and exactly what I have been dealing with... People just don't get it! I am tempted to...
  4. Italian, Greek, Native American, English... I'm a mutt.
  5. I think you have every right to get any testing done that you want. Tell them you need to get a Celiac Panel done (blood test). That is what I did. It's kind of hilarious actually. Living a life where you feel like gluten is everywhere and only exists for the purpose of hunting you down and harming you. And...
  8. I have a question. I have been gluten free for about 5 months now, but I still find myself sick about 2 or 3 days out of each week. Most of the time it will happen after I know I didn't eat anything different, and sometimes I just wake up nad am sick that day (and it usually lasts 2-3 days). I am wondering. How soon after someone with Celiac Disease is...
  9. Wow, Lisa. You just saved me a lot of time by writing this post. This is EXACTLY what I have been dealing with lately and it is SO FRUSTRATING! I actually had a company call me back and say, "we can not say for sure if our product is Gluten-Free because the Citric Acid may have traces of corn." Huh? Do you even know what gluten is??? Anyway, I just...
