  1. I was sick over a year and could not eat solid food. I lived off Ensure vanilla shakes for almost the entire time. I was drinking 3 or 4 a day of the high calorie type to make sure I was getting proper nutrition. I had one ear nose and throat doc tell me the "all in my head" bullcrap which of course is not true. My gastro doc helped as best as he could...

    ARCHIVED H.pylori

Try taking some mastic gum. It may help you as it is reported to kill H. Pylori (before taking this though, make sure you get tested first because it can cause a false negative). Nexium is great and Carafate is also really good too. Protonix is the worst... BTW, if I am severely glutened this can happen. Only if I ate a whole 16 inch pizza or something...
  3. I'm not entirely sure about that but it wouldn't hurt to get tested for it and treated if found. According to Dr. Nicholson, if you are infected with one or various species of mycoplasma you run the risk of auto-immune disorders among other things. The list of disorders encompassing this bug is very disturbing. List can be found here: Open Original Shared...
  4. Here's some links on the topic. I need to get tested myself for this. Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link Another very good comprehensive link: Open Original Shared Link I certainly will not be surprised if I have this bugger!!!
  5. Healthy Choice chicken with rice soup is gluten free. I have no problems with it. Basically the only soup I buy these days...
  6. Exactly how I feel. With all of these auto-immune disorders popping up everywhere with no cure it's amazing to me how ill informed most doctors are. They think everything is in your head. However, I am convinced that someday we'll have a cure for all of these problems. Unfortunately right now, it's a cash cow for the drug companies as well as the mainstream...
  7. Celiac and other autoimmune diseases like Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, Sj
  8. If you can't handle Advil the Zand Candida Cleanse is way worse so definitely hold off until you are completely healed and then some before taking it. Hopefully the coconut oil will help you. As for probiotics, I think they work but you'll need to take them for a long time so they can get a foot hold and start doing their thing but I don't think they...
  9. If your stomach can handle it - try Zand Candida Quick Cleanse. It's a potent combination of herbs that surprisingly works well for me... especially considering how cheap you can get it for. If you have gastritis or your stomach is in a fragile state, do not take it as it is harsh on the stomach.. I also tried Threelac but it did not work for me and was...
  10. My first ever attack started as mild acid reflux coupled with mild gastritis that snow balled really fast into a severe condition in which I was unable to eat solid food! I was on PPI's for about about a year... I had 2 doctors tell me I had a weak LES valve and said I'd be on PPI's my whole life... Which of course is NOT the case...
  11. Yeah it's been about a week and my symptoms are finally going away. I'm a little sore down there but I'll live. The head/ear buzz symptom I get is barely audible so I know I am in the clear... And my feet aren't as achey.. I feel like I'm 125 years old or something when I'm glutened!! Also, I also finally found a local store that sells gluten free...
  12. Yeah, from now on out I am not eating anything unless I make it. I have a another party I am going to this coming September... Looks like I am going to have to seriously restrain myself. This sucks so bad.. I guess the good thing is that I'm learning how to cook and eat right.
  13. After being glutened, what type of pain does everyone experience? I am still new at gluten avoidance and thought I would be ok eating some crab cakes at a friends wedding. I am getting very severe pain in the small intestinal area right above my private parts.. It feels like a heating pad has been placed on the problem areas. It also feels like it...
  14. I definitely will discuss all of this when I see him next month. Here's a link to a Walgreens gluten free product list: Open Original Shared Link Ensure is listed as a gluten free product on that list so it's a safe bet it probably is. I found that the vanilla shakes were tolerated without any issues during my course of self "treatment" with it...
  15. Yes the fast heartbeat symptom was a mystery to me but they eventually went away on their own. For me this symptom appeared out of the blue like all the others and only appeared after I ate something (around dinner time). This was one of the very first symptoms to rear it's ugly head before I went totally wacko. I wanted a beta-blocker sooo bad. It really...
  16. Well I see my gastro doc next month and will definitely request a test so... no I have not been officially tested. Also, I am no longer on a liquid diet. I was finally able to come off it after finally feeling better. Basically what happened is that I could no longer eat solid food. I physically could not eat anything without feeling deathly ill. I could...
  17. I don't know if I should be responding because I haven't been officially diagnosed as a celiac but I can tell you the symptoms you are describing mirror what I experienced when my problems started. Although I didn't have the burping. The chronic reflux and nightly heart palpitations went on for about 3 months until I finally couldn't eat solid food any...
  18. Thank you very much for this info. I will definitely get tested for this. With any luck, I will have found out what is wrong with me. It seems I have had every test known to man but I know for a fact that I haven't had these tests!
  19. For years before this I did experience debilitating migraines that I learned to deal with. The were manageable but very unpredictable. I always had a massive bottle of Excedrin on hand and it did the trick if I caught it early enough. I also had chronic fatigue and required a daily power nap at lunch time to get through the day along with some coffee...
  20. Hello, I am new here and have found this site fascinating. I am a 32 year old drug free and alcohol free, male with no former psychological or gastrointestinal disorders until one day in September of 2007 when my whole world was turned upside down. For the past 7 months I've been extremely ill and have not been able to hold a job or anything due to...
